Avalanch Training with White Pine TouringFREE Avalanche Awareness Lecture
Join us for a new and improved version of our avalanche awareness lecture. Lead instructors from our AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) avalanche education program will give you the basic knowledge you need to start or continue to build your avalanche awareness. While not a replacement for an AIARE 1 avalanche course; this lecture will give you the building blocks you need to start your avalanche education. We are also going to bring in National Weather Service Hydrologist, Brian McInerney, from the Salt Lake City NWS office; to talk with us about this season’s weather pattern to date, and how weather can affect avalanche conditions.

Red Rock Brewery will be hosting and providing us great specials on food and beer before and after the lecture. Our friends from the Utah Avalanche Center will also be there to answer questions and take donations if you feel like spreading some holiday cheer.

What: 2 hour informative avalanche awareness lecture to help you prepare for the ski season
When: Wednesday, December 3rd, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Red Rock Brewery, 1640 W. Redstone Center Park City, UT 84098, 435-575-0295
