Round, vaguely Mongolian, and a unique way to camp. Our yurt is available for nightly rental year-round. Located in the Uinta Mountains next to Castle Peak in and approximately 30 miles from Park City, you can drive to it in the summer and ski to it in the winter. It sleeps 8 people in bunk beds equipped with mattresses and sleeping bags. It's primitive. There's no plumbing or electricity, so you get to use a lantern and a wood-fired stove as well as an outhouse. But for outdoor enthusiasts, it's a great outing with family and friends.

Guide Service to Yurt
Winter: One of our guides will ski with your party the 6 miles into the site and get you oriented with the yurt before skiing out.
Summer: Our guide will lead you on the short hike to the yurt and orient you.

Overnight Guide Service
Winter: The guide will take your group to the site, make your evening meal, keep the fire stoked all night and prepare breakfast in the morning before skiing out with you.
Summer: Our guide will lead you on the short hike to the yurt, prepare dinner and breakfast and escort you out.

Self-Guided
We will give you instructions on how to get there and the functions of the yurt and the rest of the experience is up to you! This option is for the experienced outdoors person.
